Natural Fashion | Organic Clothing

Organic cotton clothing is becoming more popular as people become aware of the health and environmental risks of using pesticides and herbicides on crops. Even though demand for organic cotton products is rising, it’s still not that easy to come by.

Natural Fashion has a wide range of cotton products which are certified organic. The cotton comes from small farms in Brazil which work to support the local community by providing employment. They produce a wide range of products including clothes for men, women, and children, homewares, accessories, and soft toys. No chemicals, bleaches, or dyes are used in their production so are a completely natural alternative.

Women’s Organic Natural Fashion

If you want simple, natural coloured clothing then Natural Fashion has plenty of choice for women. The women’s range includes:

  • t-shirts
  • tank tops
  • dresses
  • skirts
  • shorts
  • trousers
  • jeans
  • jumpers
  • sleepwear
  • jackets
  • socks
  • scarves

The design is generally very casual so you should be able to find some good basics for everyday wear.

Men’s Organic Natural Fashion

There is less on offer in the men’s organic cotton range but still enough to please most guys. The range includes:

  • plain t-shirts
  • v-neck t-shirts
  • polo neck t-shirts
  • long sleeve t-shirts
  • sleeveless t-shirts
  • shirts
  • jackets
  • jeans
  • sleepwear

Organic cotton clothing is generally very soft making it great for sleepwear or for wearing around the house.

Children’s Organic Cotton Clothing

I think the children’s range of clothing is the best on offer by Natural Fashion. They have some very cute outfits including dresses, tshirts, shorts, socks, sleepwear, tracksuits, and organic cotton soft toys.

Organic Cotton Homewares

I was surprised to see that there is also a wide variety of natural homewares available. My favourite items are the cushions but they also stock:

  • organic hammocks
  • organic serviettes
  • organic placemats
  • organic rugs
  • organic bedding
  • organic tablecloths
  • organic blankets

Natural Fashion also produces a range of bags and shoes so if it’s organic accessories that you’re after then check out their site. For more information, read my Natural Fashion review.

If Natural Fashion isn’t to your liking you could try Shirts of Bamboo. They have a great range of organic and bamboo clothing. The fabric is super soft and their clothes come in a wide variety of designs and colours. For more information see:

Hello! Long time lurker, first time commenter…

I was browsing in Target Leichhardt on Sunday and notice they sell organic cotton undies & singlets – they ranged between $6 and $12.
    Keep up the great work!

Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment.

I didn’t know that you can find organic clothes in Target but I must admit I haven’t been there in ages. I’ll have to check it out.

A word of warning. Just because a piece of clothing is organic doesn’t mean it has been ethically produced. Many large retailers are moving into organic clothing but are still employing the same work place methods seen in conventional clothing manufacture, ie low wages, poor conditions and child labour.

Just jeans are also selling organic jeans. In fact in the UK organic is very common in most major clothing outlets, for eg Next, Atmosphere, Howies, Dorothy Perkins, Marks and Spencer, but I was wondering if anyone knew whether just the cotton is organic but they use the same chemical dyes and chemical processing as conventional clothing? I have been buying quite a bit of organic clothes lately as there are a few post Christmas sales, Natural Fashion for one is selling bargain priced clothing, great for kids and babies as it has no dyes in it and are also selling it Ebay and it is labelled as Fairtrade, Bright Pineapple and Blessed Earth, who usually have good priced clothing anyway.

Natural Fashion have garments that are fumigated and TARGET ORGANIC RANGES are NOT organic..I have had a compliant accepted by the ACCC about Target and a letter from Target themselves that state” although not wholly organic we made a business decision to market it as organic”…unless you have a certification no. it is not organic and most stuff from China is fumigated with methyl bromide…

MARY who posted about Target; please tell me more about your letter from Target. I just bought a heap of organic cotton undies there, then I read your post. I still have the receipt so I could return them but I need more info- I feel silly just saying I’m returning them “because someone on the internet said they’re not organic.” Maybe I could also support you in lobbying the ACCC? silverstar150 at hotmail.
