   I notice your list of organic supermarkets and grocery stores in Sydney. Could I suggest viewers of the site check out Alfalfa House Community Food Co-op in Enmore (113 Enmore Road, Enmore). The shop is open to all, although members get discounts. The store stocks organic and biodynamic foods, including fruit+veg, in bulk and with a seasonal focus.    Does anyone know where there’s an organic supermarket, or at least a large variety in one spot, in the south of sydney? It seems that we’re missing out!

   I don’t think there is such a supermarket in the south of sydney, worst luck, but there is a fruit shop in south hurstville, on the cnr of king georges road and blakesley road, that does stock a decent, albeit small, range of organic frit and veg and dry goods also. Some items are really expensive, others are reasonable.

   I just remembered that there is also a farmers market every sunday (with organic produce supposedly) near Kempt field at hurstville but I have never been there to rate it.

    There’s now an organic supermarket on Tower St Panania. next door to the kids club cafe.

Now that i have managed to get myself into a routine and find the best of organics that Sydney has to offer, i need to relocate!!

    Granny Smith Natural Food Market has won the best organic food store in Sydney for 2009 from the Foodies’ Guide to Sydney. It has moved a short distance to 6 Princes Street, Turramurra. New phone number 9988 3787.

    Very good source of information.
    I would be very much grateful to anyone who could let me know where from can I buy 20-25 KG of SORGHUM GRAIN (not flour) preferably organic. I was able to buy some excellent “popping Sorghum” but now it seems it is difficult to buy any type of Sorghum grain.
    Please HELP!!

    The Granny Smith shop seems to have moved to 6 Prices St Turramurra (off Bannockburn Road) as there website doesn’t mention Hampden Avenue Wahroonga.

    i go to the flemington markets and buy my citrus from a young man who sells oranges ,lemons, mandis and also has this really amazing oj.
    best i have ever tasted
    i think they are called sunzest although i am not sure

    Hey Guys, I am still broken hearted that Macro sold out to a very poor replacement and you still have them listed on this site, where I have come to find a replacment…it just makes me miss Macro at Crows nest more.
