Tiger Tiger Cafe | Perth
Abstract Gourmet has an excellent review of Tiger, Tiger, a Perth cafe serving delicious coffee, hot chocolate, and some organic meals.
Clare is slowly carving out a little slice of the CBD for her very own, and crafting it into the kind of place where people can feel comfortable hanging out, and perhaps find a bit of solace in this hectic (wait am I talking about Perth) city. Complete with plush booths, eclectic furniture (sourced individually), a burgeoning herb garden, and some damn fine coffee.
The coffee they are using is Fiori (more on them later), and it’s really starting to hit its strides. On a cruisey Thursday morning last week I popped in and sampled a fine short macchiato that had excellent body, as well as just the right amount of sweetness from the milk to keep my taste buds happy. Clare and roving barista Jackson are pumping out some great shots, and are producing what would be the peak expression of the Fiori blend at this point in time.
Aside from the coffee (and a superb hot chocolate with desiccated coconut in it), they also have a little kitchen, and make fresh meals daily and have a commitment to using organic produce.

On a working holiday from the East Coast, absolutely the best little cafe in Perth. Hot Choc, the best, they actually make a short macc correctly here! you get a short macc not a strong long black. Company amazing. Decor fantastic. No fakeness. Just real people and great coffee. Brilliant. Will miss it. Shannon Voss
Hey there I have visited your lovely oasis 3 or 4 times and have always found the coffee to be superb and the atmosphere to be great. Thanks for restoring my faith that good quality coffee well made is availiable in Perth.
I love the place. The ambience is brilliant, the staff are a bunch of runaway melbournian intellectuals who aspire to be cultured, rebellious, coffee making personalities enslaved in a cafe that has been ripped away from the countryside of Italy. (My imagination got the best of me) In other words. You have to see to understand. xox
Not sure about the short/long macchiato’s-( As I prefer my coffee stained) However, the style changes from state to state. I much prefer mine exactly how they make them in Melbourne.
All in all- I would sit there all day reading, writing and bitching on my phone. I would also go there dressed in some 1940’s outfit just to make myself feel like I am in the middle of Europe.
I couldnt believe I found that cafe in the middle of Perth.
My sister and I stopped by the cafe after a long day of shopping and i I so glad we did because now I have to stop by for a coffee whenever I am in the city. The place is so bohemian chic and I love the unfussy look of the place and even the food is good. A little corner of heaven in Perth.
Coffee’s great- but more importantly they’re Bulldogs supporters. Nuff said.
After growing up in Byron and moving to Perth a couple of years ago it was an absolute joy and delight to stumble across Tiger Tiger in the heart of the city! The coffee was superb, the atmosphere laid back and comfortable and the staff were just lovely. I will definately be a regular visitor : ) thank you for bringing a little bit of my home to Perth xxx
