I think the most important thing is the environmental benefits of growing organic cotton. Growing cotton as a mono crop, rather than with companion plants, results in a reduction of native wildlife in the area as well as significant soil erosion. The reason I love organic cotton sheets is because the fabric is so soft. I’m not sure why but the fabric just feels so different when compared to regular sheets. I haven’t had my organic sheets for long but they are supposed to be very long lasting. Only time will tell as far as that goes.
